A three day intensive Certificate in Financial and Valuation Modeling with Excel under the auspices of the Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT (AITI-KACE) is designed to offer participants the opportunity to have a good understanding, and upgrade their skills in financial modeling to be able to perform accurate and realistic analysis.

Financial Modeling techniques are used in many different areas, such as investment appraisal, capital planning, budgeting, valuation, financial analysis and forecasting. Banks and businesses worldwide rely on the information produced by financial models – for most account manager and individuals who deal with monetary figures it is the key to success.
On completion participants will be able to: • Understand the different types of financial models and when each should be applied. • Construct models that are robust, tested and scalable. • Incorporate elements such as risk, sensitivity, optimisation and forecasting into the model. • Produce management reports, summaries and meaningful charts.
