The Free Software and Open Source Foundation for Africa (FOSSFA), is happy to associate you with the Third African Conference on Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) and the Digital Commons – Idlelo 3

Placed under the Chairmanship of Mr Habib Sy, Senegalese Minister of Infrastructures, Land Transport, Telecommunications and ICT; the presence of Ms Geraldine Fraser – Moloketi, South African Minister of Public Service and Administration, Mr Moustapha Sourang, Senegalese Minister of Education and Ms Innocence Ntap, Minister of Public Service, Employment, Labour and Professional Oragnisations; Idlelo 3 is poised to be a rallying point for FOSS expertise, exchange, showcasing, innovation, training and projects.

This third edition of this important African conference will be taking place from Sunday the 16th to Thursday the 20th of March, 2008. The Plenary and exhibition are being hosted at the Université Cheikh Anta Diop (UCAD II), while the workshops and hands-on trainings shall be at Campus Numérique de la Francophonie, Dakar, Senegal.

Idlelo 3 will be an excellent opportunity for you to contribute to and benefit from Making the Knowledge Economy Work for Africa.
