DBC IN ENTERPRISE PROGRAMMING

This specialization course is designed to provide and equip participants with the requisite skills and knowledge on key concepts, technologies, syntaxes, and best-practices required when building dynamic enterprise systems.


 

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This specialization course is designed to provide and equip participants with the requisite skills and knowledge on key concepts, technologies, syntaxes, and best-practices required when building dynamic enterprise systems. A participant on this course will also be able to read and manage data from a relational database including calling stored procedures and working with prepared statements.

OBJECTIVES

By the end of this course, a participant should be able to:

  1. Appreciate the JAVA object oriented programming concepts

  2. Use core JAVA library (JAVA API) and build own library.

  3. Store and retrieve data object from relational database

  4. Develop dynamic web applications using JSPs and Servlets.

  5. Develop and implement applications using Spring framework over web.

  6. Configure JPA and Hibernate

  7. Create and retrieve persistent objects

  8. Manipulate persistent objects

430 Contact hours / 11 weeks/ 8 hours per day

 

SESSIONS/TIME

Weekdays ( 8am- 5pm) Monday- Friday

Weekends ( 9am- 6pm) Saturday & Sunday

Evenings ( 5:30pm- 8pm)

 

PREREQUISITES

  1. Certificate of Software Development/ Foundation of Software Development.
    University Graduates with Computer Science background or related discipline

  2. Basic knowledge of Java basics of Core Java programming.

  3. Knowledge in Java or Python

  4. Basic knowledge in Structured Query Language(SQL)
