The Bono Regional Manager Quality Control of Ghana COCOBOD, Mr. Akpah Eduku on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, paid a working visit to the Smart Technology Research Centre of the Ghana – India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT, Sunyani.
Mr. Akphah’s visit was to have idea of how the Cocoa Image Processing Application developed by the GI-KACE in Sunyani to make inputs on how best the Application can be developed to the needs of the Ghana COCOBOD.
After being taken through the process of how the Application works, the Regional Manager was impressed and proposed frequent collaborative meetings, as well as field trips for data collection to be used in developing the Application.
He assured the Smart Technology Research Centre of GI-KACE that an urgent meeting would be organized with officers of the Quality Control Division of COCOBOD, so that they can also come out with their technical inputs to help make the Cocoa Image Processing Application better in meeting their needs.
